For Australian landlords

Self-manage your rental. Keep the fee.

Property managers charge 5–10% of your rent plus letting fees, then make you chase them for updates. Leasebird puts tenant applications, leases, rent, repairs and inspections in one simple app — so you stay in control and keep the money.

No lock-in contracts. Cancel any time.

FAQ

Questions landlords ask

Is it legal to manage my own rental property in Australia?

Yes. Owners can manage their own investment property in every state and territory without a real estate licence. You still need to follow your local residential tenancy laws — Leasebird helps by building notice periods, bond lodgement and condition reports into the workflow.

What about the rental bond?

Bonds are lodged with your state or territory's bond authority, not held by Leasebird. We remind you of the lodgement deadline and keep the receipt with the tenancy.

Do I have to talk to my tenant directly?

Your tenant gets their own portal for messages, repair requests and documents, so conversations stay organised and on record — and you can reply on your schedule.

I already have a property manager. Can I switch?

Yes. Check the notice period in your management agreement, then import the current lease and tenant details into Leasebird. The tenancy itself continues as normal.

How many properties can I manage?

As many as you like. Pricing is per property, so you only pay for what you manage.
